Abstract: Since the founding of the People's Republic of China, politics in Sichuan has made great progress in knowledge growth, disciplinary construction and knowledge application after 70 years of construction and development.However, there are still many gaps between Sichuan and the first-class discipline of politics in China.The future object of politics construction in Sichuan should be development of teams, achievements, platforms, quality and influence, on which the focus will be basic theory research, academic team building, discipline distribution, and discipline direction consolidation, so as to strive for the promotion of capabilities.The paper proposes to promote high-level academic achievements that can represent the characteristics and research level of political science in Sichuan, and contribute Sichuan wisdom to the development of socialist political science with Chinese characteristics.
