Abstract:
Since the founding of the People's Republic of China 70 years ago, the development of education discipline in Sichuan has gone through five periods:tortuous period, interruption period, recovery period, accumulation period and prosperity and challenge period.In the course of discipline development, four core themes have been developed and have attracted wide attention:education equity, education reform, teachers' education and quality education.In addition, moral cultivation and key quality are the other two important themes with prominent characteristics at present.Over the past 70 years, Sichuan has continuously explored and developed the cultivation of educational talents, attached great importance to the introduction and training of teachers, continued to carry out curriculum and teaching reform, and strengthened international cooperation to expand students' disciplinary vision.Great progress has been made in the cultivation of disciplinary talents.After 70 years of development, the education discipline in Sichuan has gradually formed a cross-regional and cross-cultural research pattern and an inclusive disciplinary development vision. However, there are still four obvious deficiencies:the lack of academic research achievements that support the discipline characteristics and highlight the scale effect; few high level research achievements and unbalanced personnel distribution; the shortage of practical achievements of deep integration with local education reform and development; slow maturity of young and middle-aged teachers and shortage of high-end talents.Looking forward to the future of Sichuan's education discipline, it is necessary to make continuous efforts in three aspects: building an echelon academic team in key research areas with discipline characteristics, promoting the integration of education reform and development between universities and local areas, and building a preferable platform for the rapid growth of young and middle-aged educational discipline talents.
