Abstract: Since the founding of the People's Republic of China 70 years ago, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, music, dance, art, drama, calligraphy and other arts in Sichuan have achieved fruitful results in many fields, such as discipline construction, talent training, academic research, and foreign exchange.Looking back, art development in Sichuan in the past 70 years can be divided into three stages:the tortuous progress(1949-1977), the reviving period(1978-2012), and the rapid development period(since 2012).Reviewing and summarizing the development process and achievements of Sichuan art in the 70 years are to pay tribute to the previous artists on the one hand, and to find the right direction for the future construction of Sichuan art on the other hand.
