Abstract: The 5·12 Wenchuan Earthquake in 2008 brought a heavy blow to the Qiang's area, but promoted the social attention to the Qiang's culture. In recent years, the state has implemented the project of inheritance and innovation of excellent traditional Chinese culture and the strategy of rural revitalization, which has brought unprecedented attention to the protection of Qiang's intangible cultural heritage.In this context, taking the 10th anniversary of the 5·12 Wenchuan Earthquake as a time node, this paper systematically reviews and summarizes various academic activities, policies and measures adopted by the state and local government departments at all levels, as well as the achievements made in the protection and inheritance of the intangible cultural heritage of the Qiang people in the past ten years.The paper also analyzes existing problems and puts forward opinions and suggestions as reference for related departments, in order to lay a solid foundation for the next phase of work.
