Abstract: The combination of gender into translation studies has broadened the horizon of the discipline. Accordingly, this paper launches a systematical analysis of the impact of gender on literature translation posed by translators from the aspects of lexical resource, voices and discourses, selecting the two Chinese versions of Wuthering Heights as a corpus. Through the study, this paper has come to a conclusion that, being the same as other cultural identities, gender also has an influence on translation, with a feature of the gendered bias of translators compared with their counterparts.
