Utility Analysis of Peer Review in Science & Technology Translation Teaching

  • 摘要: 科技翻译教学中,学生的自主学习能力和相互学习能力是培养学生翻译水平的重要指标,而传统的以教师为中心和教师是唯一的评判者的教学模式已不能满足教学需求。科技翻译教学需要新的教学方法以适应发展要求。本文通过分析科技翻译教学中同伴互评的效用,积极引入以学生为中心的同伴互评评价模式,打破了传统的以教师为主体的教学模式,从而更新科技翻译教学理念,对现有评价方法进行有益补充,同时培养学生科技翻译的兴趣、习惯以及自主学习、自我评价和自我反思能力。

     

    Abstract: In science & technology translation teaching, students' self-learning ability and ability to learn from each other is an important indicator of the translation ability level of students. The traditional teaching mode taking teacher as the center and the only judge cannot meet the needs of current teaching, and science & technology translation teaching requires a new teaching method to meet the requirements of development. This paper attempts to break the barrier of traditional teacher-centered mode by analyzing the effectiveness of peer review in science & technology translation teaching and actively introducing such student-centered evaluation mode, with a light to update the teaching concept of science & technology translation and supplement the existing evaluation method and to cultivate students' interests, good habits as well as self-learning, self-evaluation and self-reflection in science & technology translation teaching.
