Abstract: With a clear definition of cultural finance, this paper briefs common practices of foreign countries, domestic status quo of investment and financing and the distinctive features of this sector in China. With the above information, the author believes that the cultural finance service platform, with the government playing a leading role, should be improved, promoting the capitalization and circulation of cultural products and their prices more rational and fairer. At last, the operational situation of Nanjing Cultural Finance Service Center, led by the government, is introduced.
