副文本与翻译研究——从序跋角度窥探小说翻译

On Paratext and Translation Studies —Study on Translation of Novels from Preface and Postscript

摘要: 学界从各个方面对小说的成功译介进行了探讨，但是鲜有学者从副文本翻译角度探讨其对小说译介的推动作用。本文从序跋角度探讨副文本在小说翻译中的阐释性功能，运用描述性研究方法，说明序跋在小说翻译中的作用。诸多例证表明，译者对原作中副文本的翻译为读者提供了了解作者、作品、译者翻译目的和翻译思想的捷径。

Abstract: Many studies have been probed in the translation of novels, but few studies have been conducted on the translation of novels from the perspective of paratext translation. Based on descriptive approach, the significance of paratext translation is demonstrated from the illustrative function of paratext in novels. The result shows that the translation of paratext is the royal road to know the author, the works, the translation purpose and theory of a translator.
