Abstract: The research will be conducted by employing the distinctive feature analysis approach and the discussion will be on the comparison and contrast of the traits possessed by the four protagonists. Through the analysis, the paper tries to reveal how these distinctive features link the characters and decide different fates for each. Then the unique skills of characterization employed by the author can be fully appreciated.
