Abstract: Su Shi is good at using figure of speech in his poems and in which the figurative expressions exist extensively, i.e. without temporal and spatial constraints, subject restriction and genre constraints; moreover, in which its various forms exist, i.e. simile, metaphor, trope, song yu, bo yu and joint metaphor, etc. The figurative expressions show artistic effects strongly in Su Shi's poems, which are accurate, perfect, real, vivid, fresh, various, humorous and profound.
