莱斯文本类型理论在应用翻译教学中的运用

An Application of Reiss' Text-type Theory in Pragmatic Translation Teaching

  • 摘要: 文本类型理论倡导者众多,但是莱斯对文本类型的划分以其简洁明晰和便于操作而独树一帜。莱斯将文本划分为四种类型,即信息型、情感型、祈使型和视听型,并对不同文本类型提出了不同的翻译指导原则,这些对应用翻译实践和教学都有很高的指导价值。以科技文本和旅游文本为例,本文重点展示了莱斯的文本类型理论在应用翻译教学中的具体操作和运用。

     

    Abstract: Among many researchers of text types, Katharina Reiss is outstanding for her classification of text types characterized by its easiness for understanding and manipulation. She classifies texts into four types:the informative text, the expressive text, the operative text and the audiomedial text, and offers corresponding translation guidance for each text type, quite valuable for pragmatic translation teaching. Taking a scientific text and a tourism text for example, this paper focuses on how to apply Reiss' theory to pragmatic translation teaching in detail.
