斯坦福大学胡佛研究所抗战档案分类研究——基于斯坦福大学胡佛研究所抗战档案典藏现状的调查

Classification of and Research on the Anti-Japanese War Files Collected by Hoover Institution Stanford University

  • 摘要: 据笔者实地调查及文献统计表明,胡佛研究所典藏有150个全宗,计2, 933盒(文件夹)及1, 796个缩微胶卷的中国抗战档案。这批档案的形成主体,绝大多数是由战时中美两国政治、经济、军事、外交等领域的相关人员构成,同时包括少量战时政府机构、民间团体和个人;档案的载体,主要由日记、信函、电稿、备忘录、回忆录及著作等形式构成;档案的内容,囊括了战时中国的军事、政治、外交、经济和社会等领域现状。它是研究中国抗日战争史不可多得的珍贵史料。本文按照档案形成主体的战时职务、职责的权限,参照其文本提要两项指标,将其分为综合、政治、经济、军事、外交、社会等六类。

     

    Abstract: According to the statistics of the field survey and literature, there are 150 general archives, 2933 boxes (folders) and 1796 rolls of microfilm of China's Anti-Japanese War collected by Hoover Institution Stanford University. The files were mostly written, printed or collected by Sino-US personnel who served in various fields like politics, economy, military and foreign affairs, etc. during the Anti-Japanese War. A few governmental institutions, social organizations and individuals also contributed to these files. The Carrier forms of the files are mainly composed of diaries, letters, the electric drafts, memos, memoirs and works. The contents of the files cover the wartime China's military, politics, diplomacy, economy, and society. They are very precious for the study of China's Anti-Japanese War. According to the subjects' posts and power and the outline of the the texts, this paper classifies the files into six categories: comprehensive, political, economic, military, diplomatic, social.
