Abstract:
The paper studies the relationship of income gap, high price of housing and class mobility from the perspective of the micro family aspect by using the data of CHNS. The result shows that the high price of housing has significant influence to the amplification of income gap as well as the district effects. Compared to rural area and low income stratum, this influence is more obvious in urban area and high income stratum. The class mobility of our country moves slowly, which causes the phenomenon of class solidification.
