Abstract: To provide some foresight for local economic development and urban planning, the paper aims to, based on available document archives, uncover the secrets of Longmen Mt. -Minshan Fault Zone in northwest Sichuan by systematic analysis and description of its features, general situation, historical records of earthquakes and their respective damages.
