Abstract: Dai Zhilin (a famous scholar in the Republic of China), Zhao Pengfei and Guan Yunmen are called three eccentrics of Zhongxiang.Thanks to his 12-volume or over 700-thousand-character book Chu Ci Bu Zhu Shu which fills up the approximately 800-year-academic gap left by Chu Ci Bu Zhu, Dai possesses a transitional position in the history of Chu Ci study.The article has analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of his Chu Ci Bu Zhu Shu.
