Abstract: As one of the post-modern translation theories, feminism translation theory has aroused much attention from people in the past ten years. And Chinese scholars in the translation circle conduct various investigations about this theory, and meanwhile, cast some doubts on it. The author claims that we must have a general idea of the origin and nature and the purview of feminism translation theory if this theory wants to obtain great success about its dissemination in China.
