Abstract: Although Guan Yunshi is a writer of minority group, he is very familiar with Han culture. For example, lots of Yi thoughts (ideas in the Book of Changes) find their way into his sanqu, such as yin and yang, qian and kun, turtle shell and divination, Sanyang Jiaotai, etc..Through the analysis of the Yi thoughts in his sanqu, we have an insight into the rich Yi knowledge hardly seen in a minority literati, which provides a new perspective for us to appreciate the artistic charm of his sanqu.
