Abstract:
It is a new perspective to study regional tourism development under the context of spatial network. This paper, with the linkage model of tourism economy, calculates the economic connections of 21 cities and prefectures and with the method of social network analysis, analyzes the characteristics of spatial network structure of tourism economy in Sichuan province. The results show that the overall density of the spatial network of tourism economy in Sichuan is not high, that the spatial network is not coordinated, and that regional tourism development is uneven. Based on the symptoms, the author proposes such solutions as improving the tourism transportation network, cultivating a new growth engine of tourism, optimizing the internal structure of the existing network, coordinating development plans to optimize the spatial network structure of tourism economy and promote the coordinated development of tourism in Sichuan province.
